List price is A$10,500 per delivery unit. Unit counts here are our starting estimates from comparable work. The binding count comes out of presales, where we write the acceptance criteria with you at no charge.

How We Sell

One unit, one outcome, one price

Most consulting is sold by the hour, which means the supplier is paid more when the work takes longer. We think that is the wrong incentive, so we removed it. A delivery unit is a bounded piece of working software with acceptance criteria written before the price is fixed. You pay for what you accept.

01

We scope the work with you

Presales, at no charge. We break your project into delivery units, each with written acceptance criteria, and give you the target architecture, the unit count and the assumptions behind it. That output is yours whether or not you proceed.

02

You buy units, not hours

One delivery unit is one bounded increment of working software that you can accept on its own. The price is fixed before we start. There is no rate card to negotiate and no timesheet to audit.

03

We deliver and you accept

Each unit is handed over against the criteria we agreed. If it does not meet them, it is not accepted and we fix it at our cost. Your balance only draws down on units you have accepted.

04

Change is arithmetic

A new requirement is an extra unit at a price you already know. Scope change stops being a negotiation and becomes a decision about whether you want the thing.

Why our engineers deliver ahead of schedule: we pay them when they beat the clock

In traditional agencies, salaried engineers have zero incentive to finish early, and T&M firms lose revenue when they do. At Aviato, we directly tie engineer and architect compensation to delivering accepted units ahead of budget and ahead of schedule. Because bonuses only trigger once you formally sign off against written acceptance criteria, our engineers use automation, reusable Terraform blueprints, and agentic engineering to exceed your expectations on both speed and quality.

What every unit includes

You are not buying a named person at a named rate. You are buying an accepted increment, and everything needed to produce it is inside the price.

  • A named architect who owns the design and the sign-off, introduced before you commit
  • A Forward Deployed Engineer or Architect reviews every unit before it comes to you for acceptance
  • Engineer compensation tied directly to delivering accepted units ahead of schedule and budget, aligning our team to exceed your expectations
  • Written acceptance criteria agreed before any unit is committed
  • Delivery management, reporting and handover documentation
  • Infrastructure as code, tests and runbooks as standard deliverables
  • Fixed price per unit, carrying the delivery risk on our side

Commercial terms

There is no negotiated rate card, so what you see is what everyone paysβ€”or you can tie our fee to measurable cost savings we deliver together.

10% off

Pay up front

Pay for the whole programme before delivery starts and 10% comes off the total. If you would rather pay per unit, that is fine, but the discount does not apply and delivery starts once the first unit is paid.

A$1,000 off

Approve a case study

Agree to a written case study on the delivered work and we take A$1,000 off. You approve the wording before anything is published, and you can keep your name out of it if you need to.

Shared savings

Business outcomes & gainshare

Where the work targets a measurable cost reduction, we can offset your upfront DU cost and share in the verified savings instead. For example: if we optimise your cloud estate and cut your bill by 10%, we take an agreed percentage of that saving; or if your contact centre escalates 50% of calls to a human and our AI agent brings that down to 40%, we share in the operational cost saved. Baselines and measurement windows are agreed in writing during presales.

The 10% is taken off the subtotal first, then the A$1,000 case study credit comes off the discounted figure. Prices exclude GST and equivalent taxes. Set in AUD; the other currencies are fixed conversions as at 24 October 2026, shown for guidance, with the contracted currency confirmed in presales.

Scope change

New requirements are new units at the same price. Work outside the agreed acceptance criteria is never absorbed quietly, and it is never re-priced as a variation. We tell you the unit cost up front and you decide.

Before you ask

The questions procurement asks

Answered here so you are not waiting on a call to find out.

Who owns the intellectual property?

You do. Everything produced in delivery is yours: source code, infrastructure as code, pipelines, tests, runbooks and documentation. We keep no licence over your solution and nothing is held back to make you stay.

What if a unit turns out to be bigger than you estimated?

You pay the fixed price for the fixed outcome. If we sized it wrong, that is our error and our cost. The acceptance criteria are written before the unit is committed, so the outcome does not move because the work turned out harder than we thought.

What counts as a new unit, then?

A new requirement, not a harder version of an agreed one. If you ask for something outside the written acceptance criteria, it is a new unit at the published price and you decide whether you want it. Nothing is absorbed quietly and nothing is re-priced as a variation.

What does it cost to get an estimate?

Nothing. Scoping happens in presales: we break the work into units, write the acceptance criteria with you, and hand back the architecture and the unit count. That output is yours whether or not you proceed.

Who decides whether a unit is accepted?

You do, against the criteria agreed in writing before the unit started. If it does not meet them, it is not accepted, we fix it at our cost, and your balance does not draw down.

What happens if we stop the programme part way?

Any units that have not started are refunded, or cancelled, by mutual agreement. You are not holding a balance you cannot use, and there is no exit fee for units we have not begun.

What is not included in the unit price?

Google Cloud consumption and any third-party licences are billed to you directly by the vendor, and we will tell you where they apply before you commit. Anything with an external lead time, such as carrier circuits for Interconnect, sits outside the delivery estimate.

Turn the estimate into a plan

Presales is where the estimate becomes a commitment. We break the work into units, write the acceptance criteria with you, and hand back the architecture and the unit count, at no charge. Bring your numbers from the calculator and the architect who would own the delivery will tell you where they will move.
