SYDNEY, NSW — Aviato Consulting has been named one of Australia’s Best Workplaces™ for 2025 by Great Place To Work, and has been awarded Great Place To Work Certification™ in Australia for February 2025 to February 2026.
Both are earned entirely through employee feedback: our team completed the confidential Trust Index™ survey, and the results were assessed independently by Great Place To Work. For a consultancy, that distinction is the whole point. We can tell prospective engineers and prospective clients whatever we like about how Aviato works. Why culture is a delivery question for us
Aviato is a specialist Google Cloud and Claude consultancy. Our engagements are project-based and technically deep: cloud migrations, data platforms, and applied AI, delivered directly alongside our clients’ own engineering teams rather than from behind a delivery-manager layer.
That model puts a lot of weight on individual engineers. It only holds up if the people doing the work are senior, trusted with real decisions, and inclined to stay for the length of an engagement and the one after it. Culture is not an HR programme sitting next to the delivery model. It is the delivery model.

Kudos: the part we built ourselves
Distributed consulting work has a recognition problem. The work happens in client repos, on client calls, inside client stand-ups. What a manager sees is a status report. What they do not see is the engineer who stayed late to unblock a client’s platform team, or the one who rewrote a fragile deployment so the next person would not inherit the problem.
Kudos is an internal tool we built so anyone at Aviato can give thanks to anyone else. No manager approval, no nomination cycle. If a colleague helped you, you say so, and the team sees it. It exists specifically to surface the good work managers do not see, and it has become one of the more honest sources of signal we have about who people genuinely rely on.

2025 was our first year on a Great Place To Work Best Workplaces list. In 2026 we were named to the Best Workplaces in Technology list for Australia, alongside renewed Certification through March 2027.
