SYDNEY, Australia — Aviato Consulting has been ranked sixth on the Australian Financial Review’s Fast Starters list for 2025, an annual ranking of the country’s fastest growing young companies.
The Fast Starters list, presented by Pemba Capital Partners and Ord Minnett, ranks businesses on revenue growth over their first years of trading. Aviato placed sixth nationally, across all sectors rather than technology alone.
What drove the growth
Aviato only builds on Google Cloud, alongside Claude and Wiz. For most clients the first engagement is not the AI. It is getting off AWS, Azure or an on-premise estate, fixing the data underneath, and getting security and governance to sign off. The AI comes after that, once there is something reliable for it to run on.
That sequence turns out to be what the market wanted. The firm’s two founders spent 16 years between them at Google Cloud and stay across the architecture on live engagements, which is how Aviato can price work fixed and dated before it starts rather than billing a day rate against an estimate.
The reference engagement is a global fitness platform’s migration off AWS: millions of active workouts, global member billing and IoT facility access controllers moved onto Google Cloud Run in 10 months against a 2.5-year internal estimate, with zero minutes of cutover downtime.
Two offers carry cash guarantees. Migrate off AWS or off Snowflake onto Google Cloud, and if the migrated platform does not cut the run-rate by 20%, Aviato pays the client AUD $50,000.
Where it sat in the year
The Fast Starters placement followed the Pemba Capital Summit Award for Specialist IT Services, won earlier in 2025, and Great Place To Work naming Aviato to the national Best Workplaces list for Australia in the same year.
In 2026 Aviato was named a Google Cloud Partner of the Year for Australia and New Zealand, accepted at Google Cloud Next ‘26 in Las Vegas, and has since reached Google Cloud Premier Partner status in the Services track.
