SYDNEY, Australia — Aviato Consulting has been named a 2026 Google Cloud Partner of the Year for Australia and New Zealand. The award was presented at the Google Cloud Next ‘26 Partner Awards Celebration in Las Vegas, where Founder and CEO Ben King accepted the trophy.
Google Cloud’s Partner of the Year awards recognise partners that delivered measurable customer outcomes over the preceding year. Aviato was recognised for enterprise cloud migrations and for putting AI into production under real security and data residency constraints.
Aviato is a Google Cloud Premier Partner and works only on Google Cloud, alongside Claude and Wiz. The firm was founded by two former Google Cloud engineers who spent 16 years between them at Google, and both remain across the architecture on live engagements.

What the award recognises
Most of Aviato’s engagements start with a migration. The work the firm is asked about most often is a global fitness platform’s move off AWS: millions of active workouts, global member billing and IoT facility access controllers migrated onto Google Cloud Run in 10 months, against a 2.5-year internal estimate, with zero minutes of cutover downtime and a 99.999% production SLA after cutover.
The AI work follows the same order. Data platform first, security and governance sign-off second, models third. Aviato’s agent deployments run inside customer-nominated regions with customer-managed encryption keys, which is what makes them viable for organisations under APRA CPS 234 or an equivalent regime.
Two of the firm’s offers carry cash guarantees: migrate off AWS or off Snowflake onto Google Cloud, and if the migrated platform does not cut the client’s run-rate by 20%, Aviato pays them AUD $50,000.
Two years from founding
Aviato reached Partner of the Year roughly two years from starting out. The award followed the Pemba Capital Summit Award for Specialist IT Services and sixth place on the Australian Financial Review’s Fast Starters list, both in 2025, and Great Place To Work recognition in 2025 and again in 2026. The firm has since reached Google Cloud Premier Partner status in the Services track.
